Cross Country

Pink Series

I had the opportunity to help document the Pink Series half-marathon that took place up in Park City. It was a lot of fun to see all these ladies running together in a sea of pink, for a great cause.

I think I've found a new love... there's something about photographing delicious food that makes me happy. I already love cooking so why not photograph the result? I'm usually too anxious to eat, but this time I specifically began with photographing in mind and allowed myself the time and light needed to make it happen. I need to do this more often.

I'm back.

I ditched the blog most of the summer, due to some heavy work on my official website. It's almost complete and I admit it was more challenging to make than I expected, but pretty cool to design and tackle that task on my own. Another semester has started and I feel like I'm closer and closer to finishing up school. Here's an idea of what I've been working on for a photo journalism & documentary class. This project was assigned to us; we had to find a story within the State Fair. I chose to document the calf ropers. It was pretty fun to be right at the front where they made their preparations and opened the gates.

Another project I did was the Law Enforcement competition at the Timpanogos Harley Davidson. I decided to include a mix of the "biker" crowd that was there to watch, along with the policemen from around the state who were driving the course. It was a fun event to attend.

 Here's a few more I did on golf. I've really enjoyed this class; it's a favorite of mine this year.
